For the love of all things Photon, PLEASE LABEL THE BLOCKS

We desperately need labels for content so we can actually find groups. Multi-block party searching is useless for a lot of content, such as Advanced quests and triggers. There isn't anyway to group search for things like the casino either. This is just a text edit, please just take then 5 minutes to change it. Below is a slice of the blocks in JP. For NA we would need separate SH and VH Advanced quests blocks due to the content still being recent/relevant. alt text

I second this. This would help greatly.

Just so you know, the "Multiple blocks" search on japan searches between differently named blocks. I know this by experience. I was once in "Beginner" block, and was taking a Very Hard urgent quest, and clicked on "Search multiple blocks" at the bottom, and ended up in a hard block. (Hard, mind you, not Very Hard.) Since if you leave the gate ship, you get transported to the block the quest search finds the quest on, rather than the block you entered it from.

I have a feeling most of you didn't experience this issue because most JP players will indeed go to the appropriate blocks before they queue up for a quest.

I know. The point of the labels is so we don't need to use multi-block searches at all. We have a piece of content in mind and just go to the right block to find people doing the same thing. Although even in the case of still using multi-block searching labels would still increase the likelihood of ending up in the right block just due to the increased number of parties already being made in the correct place.

For things like trigger though you NEED labels because you CANNOT multi-block search for them.

i see the need for this, yet i wouldn't like to have difficulty labelled blocks, that only makes the xh blocks get full so quickly and make you go "i would go to my room/alliance quarters to do some stuff but i dont want to miss my seat" or "hey friends come to the xh block for the uq" but since its full they cant join in, i know it is a pretty minor thing, i just don't like that

labelled blocks for AQs/triggers/extremes/TAs/casino would be nice though

Yes please. This small addition would really help players, both new and veteran get into groups for content they're wishing to run. Multi block searching does work, but it's an extra step in a process that doesn't need to occur. This addition would also greatly boost the enjoyment of Trigger and Casino content as it allows people to group in the correct block without any prior communication. This is especially bad for Triggers as many people currently don't know what they are and have been just popping them without advertising and losing out on the content.

@psoslash The entire reason for those labels would be to make grouping for those UQs easier on everyone as it more properly disperses the community over their respective difficulties. And frankly if you're not sitting in the block ahead of time you deserve not to get in. That's like showing up to a job interview 5 minutes late and expecting to be hired.

that was the reason... until multi block searches were implemented

yeah i will totally be there 1 hour in advance and expect my friends to do the same

i dont see the resemblance, if you want an analogy with the same scenario i think "that's like not going to the job interview before they even call you" fits better

if the blocks gets full, and an UQ is announced, not just scheduled ones, you cant go there, or if you are there in advance but you have your friends outside, then you have to leave if you want to play with them

for all the side content there isnt such thing as multiblock search, and parties are easier organized in a lobby so it would make sense, but i find difficulty ones annoying and not necessary because the multiblock search already solves that problem, i would enable the "depart for all" on the lobby though since thats the only problem i have with it, having someone not getting the quest prompt on my party because they had any menu open and delay the first run, thats something i would like to have fixed, but thats an issue sega jp must fix

....thats why there is more than one block with that same label, you dont need to be in the first one.

Multi-block search just introduces its own problems. Sometimes it just decides to not work and kicks you out to the lobby, sometimes it puts you in some dead block with one rando instead of a real group. The reliance on multi-blocking also has people using it at the worst times, like when restarting EQs. If everyone just hit "retry in current block" instead of multi-blocking then everything would go a lot smoother, the same group would largely end up staying together and be able to restart immediately, rather than waiting for a room to fill out.
