Activity - Make your educated guess!

Looks like my prediction was wrong. Twitter being vague again saying they "hope" this is one of the last few weekends.

Getting more pessimistic about the release each day, especially with Sega and their prior actions. Kinda expecting Sega to repeat 2012 again. Announce for the west, show off an English version at PAX then go silent and not respond to anyone. The fact they are not releasing any info at all, especially for the PC version, and just vague garbage(on twitter no less) on an 8 year old game is really surprising.

Hoping I am wrong and somehow they start open beta next week with PC players included. But with COVID-19 fear rampant in Japan, schools closing, and Sega of Japan is doing the changes, I wouldn't be surprised if they pushed the beta back till the very end of Spring or just flat out delay it indefinitely.

With that tweet, should be less than a month. Depends on when the get the last few fixes done and if any new errors show up from said fixes.

Based on he last FB post, it seems likely they plan to announce something this weekend or sometime next week.

You guys waited 8 years for this game. 2-3 more months after CBT will not hurt. :x

Yeah. I have been waiting a long time, but I can wait a few more months, now that it is almost ready. I would rather a working game at launch, rather than a mess. Even if the CBT was fine in the end, that is no indication of the final release, since they didn't include everything they plan to have at release.

it will though, it will hurt their credibility. i mean have you SEEN the useless nonsense they post on twitter? its was kind of hard to take them seriously to begin with, but they just seem to be pulling a slow-jerk on the community at this point. lets NOT pretend the world is going to end if theres bugs in BETA!! its what betas are for! so what exactly would they lose by just releasing it tomorrow? NOTHING~! because guess what? nomatter when they do it THERE WILL BE BUGS IN BETA! that is what betas are for, killing bugs!

I mean, what other options do you have then? Because it's either you wait patiently or just never play PSO2 NA again. There isn't really an option rather than some folks mocking the team all the time for beta not coming out any time soon.

Yeah, we'd appreciate less mocking, btw. Please don't assume things are as easy as you believe them to be. There's still quite a few things to get done to ensure a smooth Open Beta.

yeah. I know quite a few MMOs that had rocky launches by being rushed out for Open Beta and launch. I am perfectly fine with waiting up to the end of Spring, if it takes that long. There is plenty of other stuff to keep occupied with in the meantime, including past games in the series or even the JP version. I would rather wait for a polished game that works than be stuck in a maintenance nightmare like the start of CBT apparently was.

D3 error 39 is a go!

I will be less pessimistic once it is added to "Upcoming Releases" on Sega's website.

My pessimism is about when it will release, not if.

@Taimara-Syn technically there is still one shot left.

Last time they log-in before saying their goodnight is around 7:00 Pacific.

Maybe their "message of hope" wasn't contained in that tweet.

THE PLOT THICKENS?!

Yeah still wanting to know about the Premium subscription and possible founder packs that could come. Stuff that actually looks like there is progress happening. Would be nice to know those details going forward instead of getting it right before it goes live.
