A message to GMs so it can be passed to SEGA

I cannot speak for everyone, but really this game is extremely fun. I am having a lot of fun and i keep pouring countless hours into the game every weeks. However there are some things that I feel needs to be adressed.

Firstly, the Star Gems issue. Honestly and this might be a little more of a personal issue, but I feel like we aren't being rewarded enough SGs on a decent basis. Sure you can say that the mission pass gives some, that the title and story gives some. But those aren't exactly repeatable and cannot be enough for every fresh shop items we would want. And I get it,gotta monetize a little. However when the most wanted items are usually going to be between 400 and 520 SGs.. I don't know if you guys realize the conversion issue, but here in Canada,a raw 520 SGs becomes over 25 USD,which then translates to over 30$+. That is for a simple costume with a hairstyle. That is a LOT to invest in. Considering the amount of uses that SGs has... And I know what some people will say,in Japan this is a non issue because they get SGs very constantly, which is nice. But it doesn't apply to us,yet. If it ever ends up applying to us.

Then I think the biggest thing would be addressing the whole Microsoft store issue. Look,we get it. GMs can't say whatever they want or would like to. Most of ya'll are probably fighting as much as you can for the community. And as much as the constant whining is the most prevalent,I am sure most people get it and appreciate the work ya'll putting in. But this does need to be addressed ASAP for real. There are people quitting the game because of these issue, understandably. We want this game to keep growing but as long as the MS store issue is a thing... That won't help. I do know that opening up the game to more regions and platforms would definitely help so I do hope this is going to happen sooner rather than later.

And then finally, don't just listen to people saying they are going to quit. In reality most of these people are raging right now, saying things but they'll be here to whine again in a few weeks up to a month. We really care about this game, and I think that us the community are very vocal about criticism because we deeply care about this game we have waited for such a long time. I have my gripes personally but here I am writing a damn wall text because I don't want to see this game closing anytime soon. Let the people who aren't invested enough drop the ship,us more hardcore players will keep the ship afloat. And if nothing else, the whales by themselves will do it lol.

But really, keep doing a great job,a hard one at that. And don't relate the negativity to our overlords at SEGA,because in the community there are still people that are extremely passionate about PSO2.

PS,PLEASE PORT NOVA AND INFINITY!!!!

I currently care more about voice tickets not being in the game, not enough collabs, but especially translations being poorly done with no efforts put into it. Other than that, GMs are definitely doing their best work to clean this game out with healthier environment.

@LapisWave Voice tickets? Care to enlighten me?

There are voice tickets you get from certain collabs for example the Fate collab, you can get the voice for gilgamesh/rin/archer etc for your player character. IIRC

Ah okay,I see.

I really wish we would get an Infinity remaster, or better, a full PSU collection that includes the full PSU story (from ep1 to 3), and the story of each of the portable games (for the non-story playable parts, Infinity would be enough, since it pretty much includes everything, I think?). ;_;

I am not looking forward to that one mission where you had to corner that child and run over entire map trying to get it right.

Is it bad that I don't remember that?

Must have deleted it from my memory. xD

@Morgothryuzaki A full list of available player voices, includes previews. There are literally hundreds of them. These include, but are not limited to unique voices, NPC voices and voices from popular animes. A lot of the tickets are voiced by big names in the anime industry. 99%(source, my ass) of them are also tradable.

Oh man, i want that. Lol.

As far as I know the casino coins to star gems hasn't been added yet as it was added in a later episode.

Challenge Mode doesn't have SG tickets either.

I am starting to feel that they intentionally did this so that people will spend money on SG instead.

I feel the biggest issue this game has right now is the still very limited availability. I know Microsoft wants their money and all that, but they could have released this on Steam on day one and while they'd be giving a cut to Valve, I believe the high amount of people joining would make up for that. Also, limiting it to Windows 10 1909 and up further limits availability. Again, I know Microsoft wants everyone using a single OS, but not everyone out there can do that right now, and many don't want to. And with all the problems W10 has, we are seeing a growing migration to Linux and even Mac OS, of all things...

I always had issues with seeing Sega partnering for anything with Microsoft after the Dreamcast Windows CE fiasco, yet here we are again. BUT, I seriously want to be proven wrong on this one because I want this game to stay here for a long time.

@ZorokiHanuke I think the 360 version of PSU was the more popular version in the west. Also PSO came out on the original Xbox as well. So there is a history of Phantasy Star titles on microsoft platforms.

That was just Sega acting as it's own publisher. Not an actual partnership like we see here with this game where Microsoft is the Western publisher, or with CE, in which they partnered to get Windows into the Dreamcast.... with catastrophic results for pretty much all the games done under that OS.
