Challenge Mode is Now Open

As many of you may or may not have noticed... PSO2 NA now has Challenge Mode available.

It appears that unlike JP, Challenge Mode will not be taking place in 'Shared Ships'... maybe this setup will be used for Battle Mode in the future? Maybe its done for latency reasons once the game launched 'globally'?

It's possible that this and the fact the game client connects to 5 different servers at once is the culprit. I'm still holding my theories hostage on how an EU/UK version of PSO2 will work.

Interesting... see my theory was that we would have different sets of ships per region. PSO2's Battle Mode is host-based and has forever had a problem with latency for players outside of the server's region. My guess is not using shared ships means you won't have players from multiple regional ships matchmaking.

where do you exchange milestone?

Challenge Mode is meant for 12 players.

Btw, 5000 Challenge Miles = 1 Revolsio Weapon (13-Star)

2000 Challenge Miles = 1x 15,000 EXP Ticket

30 Challenge Miles is awarded for the lowest Rank (IE: Failing basically.) (You have to kill at least one enemy. Or progress past the first barrier.)

why are the weapon camos more expensive then actual 13 stars?

@Rao In the JP version, the challenge shop has a completely different set of weapons than NA, the camos are based on those weapons.

They didn't release those weapons on NA because the JP ones use the old grinding system (which maxed at +10, instead of +35, and grinding had a chance of failure in the old system).

It's really disappointing they didn't convert these weapons into the new grinding system for NA and instead turned them into camos, since they had a pretty neat potential, damage boost against bosses. 😕

I don't even see news about this mode.

that is sad... because the camos look amazing... im gonna grind up for the sword at least.

They also added Rare Enemy Triggers to the Limited Exchange in the casino.

Is their any shop for challenge mode? XD Because f not.. what the point of doing it? Edit: I found the shop... its was not in the same place then jp. lol

Erf... they didn't put any unit... RIP challange mode. xD Callenge mode died in jp because its was retty much useless.. 😕
