What about "global" version?

Last year we were adviced that pso2 was going to be released global, but now we are calling it "pso2 na" and it was only released for Na and Canada, it is going to be launched global? Or we were lied with the trailer in the last E3?

From the recent Roadmap:

"We are also working hard to introduce this legendary online action RPG to a global audience this year. We will have more information about the regions where the game will become available in the near future."

F

For Challenge Mode

@XUL Well maybe we ll get it on a late update.

Thx for the info i was kind of lost with all what is hapenning with the game, i hope more people can enjoy it and we get the launch this great game deserves.

Still waiting for the PS4 version, but hey, at least we have PC now

They're having enough issues with what they have now and all people can think about is global and adding more consoles to the mix.

@Whitney98902150 Yeah, they're trying to get global and slowly getting it out, but working out kinks and other things with the slow roll out and all anyone is thinking about is "why no global?" like you said. lol

To paraphrase the original text... though the 'global release' doesn't have a date or details yet, its expected to happen sometime during this year.

Most likely, the NA version would just become a 'global version' and we would all be playing on the same servers given that the NA version has several global ratings, including PEGI and ACB (Australian Classification Board), as well as a "Spoken Language" option to (separate from voice and text language) that displays what language you speak to other players (its currently Japanese and English only though).

Since Microsoft accounts are region free, you would still be playing with the same data and with the only major difference being not needing to change regions to buy AC. If we are lucky, we get some EU hosted ships as an option and get Ship Transfers as an option finally.

Since they were really relunctant to open Ship 4 when the 3 current ships were congested when the PC version released, I wonder if they're saving those ships for the global release.

Well its gonna happen sooner of later, and thats what i wanted i know

@GrandTickler87 except it was announced the game would launch globally this year.
