Kinda feeling bored

So I'm 72 and honestly kinda starting to feel bored... So the only thing to do is grind,cool. I love that actually. Problem is I never get any fucking decent loot whatsoever,so no making money much,also not really getting anything decent isn't making me do any more damage or die less. Its a bit boring at the moment... Like I get low drop rates for good stuff,obviously. But when I run Ultimate Quests or highest difficulties and all I get is 10 rarity stuff that is neither worth anything or good enough to upgrade my stuff.. i,m starting to wonder why am I even playing..

Honestly, it's more fun than sitting in one grind spot for 8+ Days straight in perfect World International only getting two levels in those 8 days (5ish hours a day.)

You just got Ultimate today, started playing it immediately at level 70, and are only level 72. Of course you haven't gotten a drop yet, they are decently rare. If they weren't, you wouldn't be able to make any money off them selling it.

They drop from the bosses, so the faster you spawn bosses, the better. Nothing else in Ultimate will make you money, so you either gamble on the low chances of getting one or go farm saiki and sell it instead.

Welcome to pso2 endgame. You have to farm the same quest to get what you need or sell the stuff you don't need on player shop.

With the drop you don't need you can try to sell it to get what you need. ^^

@I-UsagiTsuki-I If i was gettinhg anything selleable..yeah...

@John-Paul-RAGE where do we get saiki from?

Saiki is probably just as bad to farm, if you are really bothered about "not getting anything" and that's your measure for making a grind fun, then for now making money should be your grind instead. That allows you to extend your grind efforts on multiple quests with varying degrees of feedback when you finally sell stuff.

I spent about 20 hours in Ultimate for this time and that was about the extent i was willing to spend in it, considering I've ran this quests at like 3 different points in time before (whenever Sega decided to make Ultimate relevant again on JP).

PSO2 is pretty much a dripfeed simulator, I'd recommend only checking back whenever new stuff comes out if you can't find anything worthwhile to do.

@Morgothryuzaki saiki comes from Daybreak Super Hard, most frequent from SHAQ on +50, but it eats a lot of F capsules. I run it solo so I can skip the mobs and boss check.

Alternative is exploration and just killing boss.

Daybreak can also drop Aura weapons, Mars weapons (while frog rappy is around), and of course the Revo set.

Also super super super rare is the Gal Gryphon rare version, can drop Gal weapons. Always a chance for the Lightning dog as well.

Saiki rates are better than Nemesis and Slave, but if you full clear everyone (for SHAQ) it is monotonous and takes a long time. Aura weapons are also super rare.

Just as a PSA, Super Hard +50 mobs were buffed back up to level 80, havent noticed a big difference but it could pose a problem

Meet some people 🙂 I got bored and looked for a random person to go to the in-game casino with, good times.

I actually felt that a while ago. Yet I got back into it and have more reason to grind. The road map gives me a goal to strive for now. So I understand how you feel. Yet, if you ever want to play, I'm always down. Feel free to hit me up. (I'm in ship 2)

@Morgothryuzaki 72 YEARS OLD? lol jk jk

@Redex Waait..there's a casino? where?

@gwolfy4120 If you go to the shopping area there is a brightly lit open entrance to it from there.

I leveled all my jobs to 75. Mostly in advanced quests. Now is the best time to do them. I got about 35,000 photon boosters on the way, each stack of 999 sells for about 550k to the shop npc.

That sounds like the best time, you're starting to get the freedom to aim for anything in the game that's accomplishable or tradable, titles and all, and should be able to comfortably stay on top of events now too.
