Posters, leave your salt at the door.

I am all about not bringing negativity to the table. But I've been playing MMOs since 1999 and I've never seen a launch where the game ate and owned people's hard drive space. To not let people uninstall it that don't want it, simply because they installed it on their C drive? That is ludicrous. The entire community has earned the right to be upset. Failed launch, sure, but to ruin machines is totally different. Furthermore, their only response is "sorry."
I'm guessing you are one of the people that happen to have the game working? Gratz. But don't judge the people that are getting their hard drive eaten by this game.

It's super funny seeing how people generalize community and saying "everyone" though.

That one really bothers me. I don't know why people think they have to say things like "people" "players" "everyone". It is something that really should stop when foruming.

Is this just how West is now or it's due to having a population chunk from another community that live with that type give mindset?

2b you generalized with saying people.

Social media sites also don't represent the community accurately at all either. For example, 80% of posts from twitter come from only the top 10% of the users. That said, I agree with the OP.

Same thing here. The sheer amount of complaints don't accurately reflect the state of the game. Most players are fine with the state of the game. It's not perfect, but no game is nor its launch. It's super funny seeing how people generalize community and saying "everyone" though.

I'm mostly here to inform. It's pretty interesting to see people lash back and not accept objective facts and statements tho.

Holy smack in the face ... all the posts don't represent the community, but you do? Again, why not start with yourself. Objective fac ... ahahahaha, why don't you read the NEWS on the OFFICIAL WEBSITE to learn about objective facts first?

Again, that's the platform aka "storefront" fault. Not the product itself fault. And you seem to still fail understanding that part.

I dunno if you can't understand what it means that the majority of players don't actually post on the forums. That's just a fact.

And I dunno if you can't read a full sentence.

Yes 10% of players post on the forum, but do you understand what you are saying yourself? Because right after, you went right back saying "MOST" players this and that. Do YOU by YOURSELF, represent the playerbase better than the 10% who post on the forum?

@IfrianMMO said in Posters, leave your salt at the door.:

So let me get this straight.

You think the community is too salty and combative, and your perceived solution is to bark at everyone to either obey or leave?

That sounds like a great idea that could not possibly backfire in any and all ways.

It is also completely in line with it´s own claims and not hypocritical at all.

Lmao. Right?

This thread is a weird bait.

Indeed, witnessing the evolution of a weird flame-war in general.

Except I didn't write anywhere about me being a representative.

I tried to leave my salt at the door, but I got the following error...

"You don't currently have permission to access this folder."

Please help!

The amount of Irony is high with a lot of the reply's here. Sad to say, salt is a part of life. Just like in real life, too much salt will increase your risk of stroke, heart failure, osteoporosis, stomach cancer and kidney disease. I would just try and work around all the negativity and take everything with a grain of salt.

Problem is people have real legit problems that aka Microsoft or Sege are not addressing. So lets say we take the pornographic text people are doing off the table. Lets just play devils advocate on that one so we don't have another war here about it. So we are left:

  1. Microsoft store eating up hundreds of dolor's for AC, Gems never delivered.
  2. Game is almost impossible to delete off PC without going into extreme unneeded advanced computer knowledge to do so.
  3. There are still issues of downloading and patching game let alone game deleting itself but still taking up space.
  4. Do I need to go on?

Now we look at these issues and yet where is Microsoft? Where is Sega?.

Most people don't see them around. It is within peoples right to be upset. And voice it.

Lack of communication has caused this I’m sorry but it has. People don’t even know if it will fully get fixed by maintenance . Yah I may of gotten the client to work using the tweaker but I can understand how frustrating it must be for those who have waited for so long in the dark saying if this has been tested maybe this could of been avoided or at the very least refined a little more

Like for exsample a stress test on 4-6 with all players both Xbox and pc logging in on those servers so they would of had a better gauge of just what sort of population they were dealing with . They had to almost double the blocks on the spot which people then reported lag (and weirdly enough less lag on the tweaker from what Iv heard? Idk I only went straight for tweaker installation after the stores initial download) . And of course with the stress test would of come all the errors Microsoft store had and maybe it would of fixed a few by the time of release idk thats just my opinion
