The Quna Concert is absolutely AMAZING!

I always thought it would be amazing to experience things like this that could really bring a game to life. The Casino, all the players on the ship, monitors with trailers on them, social hubs, etc, etc.

This is a fantastic, fun experience and never thought while playing the first PSO on Dreamcast that the game would come to life like this. So glad to finally get an opportunity to experience this!

The singer for NA version is very good. Great performance!

It was bold for them to actually localise the music when usually nowadays dubbing companies will leave such things undubbed but I think it worked out pretty well? It's refreshing to see some actual interaction between players too.

I really enjoyed the concert too! It made me feel like I was in Macross Frontier! I hope there will be more events like this.

It was pretty cool, aside from the player who chose to be extremely obnoxious and try to ruin our ability to even hear the performances well at all, with his continuous blast notifications!

Would of been nice if there was a way to turn off messages during the concert.

Hoping we'll get those songs to play in our rooms in the future! Great performance!

I was so excited that the songs were fully dubbed. I feel like there's a lot of things that will just keep the songs in a game or show/anime in Japanese and just slap on some subtitles and while that's not a bad thing, I've always loved seeing how songs are translated and hearing them and I know it's such a big effort to do so I really appreciate that they did.

@F0XB0MB Alas, it's all part of the concert experience 😛 I usually would try to find a block that was empty because of it, but they were pretty much all full this time. It'd be a really nice feature though-- that said, it wouldn't stop all the jumping (which I would've minded less if it wasn't for the sound every single time they landed-- I heard the jumping clearer than the singing T___T)

The concert was pretty cool! I had seen it on the JP servers but I was able to experience with a friend who had never seen it tonight and he thought it was really cool! So that was nice to see. I was surprised to hear the English dub! It actually doesn't sound too bad at all! And I can say that for basically all English dubs in the game! They all sound really good!

My friend said the same thing about wanting to turn off the messages so he could hear the music. We even tried going to a less populated lobby but no matter where you went, you get spam. Although I have to admit some of the comments people were making were pretty comical so it wasn't all bad lol. It would be nice to have some peace and quiet every now and then though.

The concert has been localized really well. I'm really glad this version is getting the treatment it deserves.

All of this, the great voice lineup, the western culture, (for the better or for worse) and being able to directly interact with people who understood us properly and get people comfortable talking and having a good time with other players a fantastic experience. I thank you for bringing all of this here and especially to the man of the people, Phil Spencer for his opportunity to answer our eight-year question: When is PSO coming to the west? Thanks again, Phil!

After a while you get used to the spammy messages and wisen up to turn down the sound effects prior to attending the concerts. Other than that I'm looking forward to my time in the Wild Wild West lol.

If there is a function to /ignore, that would be nice, unless there's a small limit.

I've noticed my ignore list can grow really fast in some games. 😁

All they would really need to do is minimize sound of anything other than the song for people who engage in the "Camera lock" for the concert.

Would be a simple feature. Other than that, I have become immune to the spam... but that is probably because I play along with everyone else.

Real concerts be like that though (at least if they haven't gated out the most desirable area to paying customers) - the people who will beeline for front of the stage will be megafans or people looking for attention. - I hung out on the ledge overlooking the performance space. Quna was tiny, but the video screen lets me see most of the action and I got the chats and symbol arts around the area. I guess because of distance, I didn't get jump sfx outside of noises from picture symbol arts.

Yeah, I think the folks who WANT to stand in a mosh pit are clinically insane, be even there real folks get kicked out if they get too out of control. In a venue with tables and chairs, the fastest way I've seen people get tossed is by standing on the furniture. That and amplified music, being what it is, is way louder than most of the people CAN be.
