Game crashed right as I finalized my character creation with no error and now every time I go to character selection it does the same thing. Tried making a complete different character on another ship (same thing there), changing various options, reinstalling gameguard, making sure windows/xbox app related stuff are up to date. Nobody else seems to be having this issue so I'm kind of at a loss here, no idea what the cause could be.

Do you happen to use Msi afterburner or some similar software? The fix was to turn Msi afterburner off for me. Now I can play the game.
