My character name was changed without my permission. I was afk and when I logged back on it was changed.

I am also curious. If it was offensive or something, maybe a Gm saw it and changed it, which is better than a ban. Especially if you where afk and someone reported you.

Also could have been someone you know who maybe picked it up and changed it, but I don't know much about your living situation/friends.

From what I was told, GM's are handling players with offensive character names one by one so if you did have a name that somebody would find offensive it may have been changed for that reason. Players can also report this in-game so make sure the name is suitable.
