Lambda Grinders

Does any one know the best Way to grind For lambda Grinders on NA?

I personally have been grinding 10* to swap for excubes, and exchanging excubes for lambda grinders and other needed enhancement items.

I got most of mine from the closed beta. I think Dark Flaz Elder gave me like 20 of them. Other 20ish I got from doing things on the ark quest menu.

As of now farming them is VERY hard because we literally only have the base content of the game. Might get more Tuesday, but who knows.

Trade the overabundance of 12* drops for them in the swap shop.

Sell the Nox weapons, trade the Sigma.

Trade 12 Star weapons. Buy 10 a week from casino. Do daily missions.

Sadly, you can only get 9 of these via daily missions if you have 3 characters above 50. It's not the best choice, because each weapon fed into a 13-star = 1 lambda grinder paid (5 each time basically.) Until we get Zig's COs, we're going to be short on Lambda Grinders a lot.

With Magatsu being the primary Urgent Quest right now, we're going to be lacking a lot of high rarity weapons, since he tends to drop 9-star or lower.

Once you can clear 6-10 of Heaven and Hell Solo Extreme Quest, it can net 4-10 lambda grinders depending on your luck.

It can only be ran 5 times a week, so make en count!

Probably will be a while. Still am only 55 force. I would do it on my summoner, but eh. I want to level up other things.

@coldreactive yeah, it isn't too bad once you can pair your damage dealing with HU's tankiness and just use the overpowered weapons at our disposal. The most important one is clearing the Stage order on 9 so profound darkness doesn't become a super tank on 10.

Other than that, we only have Casino, the Fresh Finds Lambdas (think it is x10 for 900K meseta), and the 12* trade is.

Seems Magatsu drops as many Sigmas and he does Deo, so it will help a little bit for the trade in, but I have been using all line for fodder up til now.

If you find that you're always in need of lambda grinders, there's a method that cuts down on lambda costs and this is the most efficient by JP players to save on lambda.

For any 13* or higher weapons, you should use any upgraded fodder, such as a 12* and enhance that to a +'s value that gives the needed EXP to your 13* to cap it the next potential unlock. Do not unlock potential the +20 potential as weapon EXP is based entirely on weapon type, total weapon exp, rarity.

Using this method, on average you only need 2-3 lambda every 10 bracket. While this method does cost a bit more meseta, you cut down on lambda grinders tremendously. You can also do CF for those +30 lambda to be use as fodder to feed the 12*.

You can refer to the NT-EXP grinding chart on Visiphone to gauge and not waste any extra potential weapon EXP.

Nothing above 9-star has dropped for me so far, but I ran them all on hard mode.

Sure, if each 10 levels didn't cap EXP due to needing to unlock proficiency. I don't really have the photon spheres to upgrade 12-stars past 10. (Since potential unlocks start at 10, not 20.) I spent most of my meseta on getting Nemesis and Slave Talis (For the later 15-star trade-in.) They both cost 3-6 million each.

Hence I mentioned using Visiphone to gauge the remaining EXP so you don't waste any potential exp that could be for the next 10 levels. The issue with Photon Sphere stems from your allocation with 10* junks on exchange shop. Instead of putting your 10* weapons for excubes, you can invest them 1:1 ratio for spheres. There's also 10* units which is a 5:1 ratio, so that gives you some sort of supply other than from daily missions, ExQ photon drop farming. It's a matter of how you allocate your resources.

Photon sphere isn't exactly an issue when it comes to grinding in honesty, as for a 12* you need at least 1 past +10 and when it hits +20 there's no point to unlock that potential.

On average a +13* uses 9 photon just for unlocking its potential and when you account for spheres used on fodders, it's one more per fodder you use, which amounts to around an extra 6 or 7 more spheres in total. So 15~16 (or even 17) sphere isn't a lot you need per 13*.

I have been. The past few UQs (IE: the last 5) have given only three 10-stars. (Including Drawn to Darkness.)

@coldreactive SH+ will be where they really start pouring in, but if you can just take advantage of the ARKS Rally Boost to skip SH and go to EH, more consistent.

@coldreactive Which difficulty were you doing? Since like @John-Paul-RAGE mentioned, SH/EH is where 10* becomes the common/uncommon drop. So having a 250% rdr up with your triboosts (consumble/daily/party) would give you a decent amount per EQ. On average for SH, an EQ that involves a big boss fight like Elder or Luther would give me around a range of ~10 or so of 10* weapons/rears, which is a decent amount for that difficulty and our current content.

While XH is much more, around 15~20 when it comes to major EQ, or if it's like Mining Base 1, I'd at least get 4-5 per clear which adds up about the same as if I did Luther/Elder.
