I have the quest to place an auxiliary but I don't see an option to on the personal terminal, please help.

It's a furniture item that you have to place, so there's no specific menu for it.

@coldreactive it wasn't there is it possible to sell, if so then I could of accidentally sold. Is it possible to buy a new at one of the shops.

I'm pretty sure the furniture shop sells them, below the cafe. (Right of it if you're facing the cafe.) The icon looks like a platform with a terminal coming up out of it on one corner.
