I don't know what's so hard to understand about why a test build might not be supported by every program. It should be expected not a surprise.
And I dont understand why it's so hard to understand that what many are using in the "beta" channel is effectively the final RTM build of windows 11 not a test build. PSO is capable of running on windows 11 it's an outdated useless rootkit called Gameguard that the problem and it should have been removed along time ago as like every other failed client end anti cheat it's neutered by cheaters from day 1 and only ever causes problems for LEGITIMATE players.
Semantics, it is a test build calling it anything else doesn't make it true. It's the same as a beta branch for any other program, an experimental version that's bound to have issues since it's not designed to be used by the general public yet. You yourself even have knowledge of Microsoft calling it a beta, so you know it's a test build. A beta is a test version.
I don't usually think people are entitled, but expecting anyone to rush to make a program compatible with an OS that isn't considered ready for the general public yet, and is still in a preview version or test version or whatever you want to call it (since they're the same thing) is definitely entitlement.
Why is it so hard to understand how unfeasible it is for devs of any program to make their program compatible with an OS not considered the release version yet, when they could wait until it's actually officially released?
It's also likely a security update will be added on the release version of Windows 11, so they might have to update the game again to make it work with the OS at that point in time anyway, so it makes the most sense to not spend the resources to fix the incompatiblities until absolutely necessary.
There's a lot of problems with how SEGA handle NGS, but this is a perfectly reasonable outcome that should be expected of at least one program for the pre-release of Win11.
