Please fix block names to be meaningful as with JP PSO2.

In Japanese PSO2, each block has a meaningful and useful name for what it can be for. This distributes players better so things don't get so laggy, something the xbox struggles with a lot already. It also allows players to meet up easier for specific activities, ie difficulty, quest type, role play, etc. Current block names are not useful.

I am coldreactive, and I am not making an I approve of this message joke.

From past games experience, the western community usually doesn't care about the purpose of the block, if the block itself does nor restrict certain quests, the majority will mostly go to the more populated one (Block 1), then when ONE day that block falls for some error, people will get paranoid and move to the next one (Block 2).

Please add this!

If nothing else, it's immensely helpful for finding urgent quest groups for the right difficulty without being forced to multiblock every run, and would be very nice to find other advanced quest groups.

I would agree with OP that it would be helpful if they had blocks named for specific interests such as the SHAQ ,VHAQ it can be tedious looking for a team

The only downside to this, is that when you matchmake (Search Multiple Blocks and Accept), you only matchmake within blocks with the same name.

Right now, that means you're matchmaking with EVERY block, where if they'd changed names to be more meaningful, you'd matchmake with blocks only with the same name. It'd be a blow to the population you could match with. Otherwise, I agree.

"Search Multiple Blocks" on JP actually works with all PC blocks / non-console blocks now. I've gotten Normal block, etc. (even a casino block) while I was in a Super Hard Block searching for a Super Hard+ quest/mission. When searching multiple blocks in JP, the game teleports your character to the block it found the mission/quest in. Which is why I know.

Japanese players tend to, however, post missions/quests in the appropriately named blocks. So it's possible you're just getting really lucky / unlucky.

@coldreactive That was not the case previously! I wonder when it got changed.

i agree with this post

I completely agree, trying to find random folks is hard since there is no place to go to if you're looking to do specific difficulties or even some sub quests.

I think the lack of unique block names is only a temporary thing for the Beta to first determine the number of total blocks that would be needed at all.

As a sidenote, we can see one of the screenshots from the manual shows how the blocks might be organized once PC's out:BlockList.jpg

There really should be beginner blocks, expert player blocks and screenshot/video blocks that limit multi-block matchmaking like the Japanese version.

I don't think we need to limit multi block matching past JP's expert matching mechanic, to be clear. But having some separation so blocks aren't arbitrarily crowded and people can get with others who want to do similar activities easier would be good.

Well I imagine there will be less blocks overall. Barely any of the later blocks on Ship 2 on JPPSO2 ever get used. I've pretty much never seen anyone on the casino block in the actual casino... I mean, if they got rid of planet lobbies because no one used them... >.>
