NGS Feedback

To start, I love the visuals, but it has come at a cost. PSO2's visuals now look dull, like there's no bloom on glows, and colours look less vivid.

Second, I dislike the new skills system. It's kind of insulting actually, and looks like it's built for a 6 year old to understand! Do you really think we needed this over-simplyfied like it is? I much prefer PSO2 skills system. The lack of stat boosting within the system is also dissappointing.

Where's the 'parity' gone with legacy equipment, as similar star-level equipment is 'stronger' in NGS? I know it's going to be out-classed by higher star gear eventually, but really!?

The Photon Glide and Run are awesome btw and the Ryuker devices are okay, but I miss being able to teleport back at will.

The ability to explore is fantastic, especially leaping off the tallest mountain.

The augment system is interesting, but seems a bit too strict for higher-end augments.

I'll agree with what others say about harvesting etc....stuff is too rare, fruit, veg etc.

I think the swap-shop stuff is vastly over-priced.

Which reminds me, the text call-up box in PSO2 is broken, and it's pot-luck if the 'keyboard input' screen remains up.

However, game-play gets dull and old fast. Needs more variety I'm not talking about upcoming content, just more things to do other than kill and collect stuff. CASINO!!!

The detailing on characters and most of the environment is great, but trees and bushes need improvement as they are truly awful and look like they were transplanted out of PSO2.

So currently, NGS is a worse and overly simpilistic experience than PSO2 in my eyes (not because of lack of content). Hand-holding is a no-no for me when it comes to the skills system. You announced the game too early and released it too soon. Another 6 months would've avoided alot of issues we're experiencing.

There is bloom on glows, there's literally a setting for it. Turn it on and off, to watch how much glow you lose when it's off.

The skill trees aren't complete. My understanding is that the trees will increase as time goes on, so this seems like it's a too early to tell type of thing, but I get where your coming from.

And yeah, our old equipment matching star level, does feel off that they still nerfed it below other weapons of its same quality level, making the transfer over effectively useless, well, accept for armor, which was a small help when I didn't have good units.

You can teleport anywhere on the map, using the map itself, you don't need to be at a device, just an fyi.

The reason the progression in this game is the way it is, is because they want us as players to slow down. So minerals are rare. That said, the same shouldn't apply to food harvesting, as the daily challenges become harder to complete each day in a week.

Your overall graphical experience is based on your graphical settings, and you need to take time out of your play to manually tweak them. The pre-set graphics settings, aren't that great, so it's best if you manually set up everything yourself.

I can agree that this game should have had a tiny bit more testing. An open beta would have been smart, both JP and global version, because stress tests would have allowed them to better see where issues were.

Anything I didn't directly reply to, I don't really have an opinion on one way or the other, as I've been having fun with the game overall.

Just going to address the graphics. Bloom is on, but makes very little difference. Since the update, everything in PSO2 is duller, and it's not just me. Everything is set at max and the game runs fine, just the trees and bushes seem to use the same modelling that PSO2's are.

And thanks for the teleport info....something that should be said in-game! Lol.
