Not a single mention of NGS in the Microsoft E3 show.

So, that was disappointing to say the least. With no marketing and horrible launch i'm starting to worry more and more that global ngs is going to be doa

Lol pso games will never be doa.

Also expect it to be on Sega's show and not Microsoft. Sega is at e3 this year.

Ok, people like you, need to seriously calm down. We aren't even a month in yet. Why would they spend money where it isn't needed and have any E3 showcase? We already know their roadmap, and anyone that had any interest in this game, was there day 1. Most who had issues, are patiently waiting for the issues to be sorted, the rest are playing regardless of them.

It's not about us. We know about the game already, but there was borderline no marketing, and besides people who are already balls deep into ps or mmos nobody knows about ngs. Given the state of fashion on people playing ngs, 90%+ of playerbase right now are returning players.

But I admit, I didn't knew that sega will have their own e3 show this year. They will showcase ngs there, right?

In my head Sega told Microsoft to eff off they've screwed up so much at this point they only want them involved in name only. Sega's having internal backroom talks to move the game off of Azure and on to some real infrastructure.

25 years for Starfall and Microsoft/Bethesda show no gameplay LOL worse than FF Versus XIII. Sega just needs to be done with the embarrassment that is Microsoft, they put on the worst E3 show I've ever seen.

Right, because the 60k+ players alone on steam wasn't enough to give you the hint that we had more than enough people to keep the game alive. You want a dead game, and what it takes to kill a game, look no further than Bioware's Anthem.

Firstly the e3 presentation was one of the best we had in awhile with A LOT of games people are hyped for. People already claiming they won e3.

Second Sega had no interest in the outside world with Phantasy Star. If it were up to them they'd likely pull the plug on NGS like they did with the SEA version of pso2. Microsoft buying them off to publish PSO allowed for a long term relationship as shown in recent deals they're apparently making.

Hell if anything Sega wants Microsoft to continue due to their last PSO financial quarter bringing in more money than the JP playerbase.

We are the real beta testers. Now we test everything extensively and report it for free so they are ready to sell it big at a some event. Seems obvious since nothing is ready for release at release nowadays.

@Zeke Oh okay I could see people saying it was the best Microsoft presentation in a while, seeing as how in previous years they literally showed nothing. I guess showing cinematics (for shooters LOL) and no gameplay is a step above for them. They must have used up all their money buying developers and making deals where they don't hold up even a fifth of their part of the arrangement, they didn't have enough to put on a show to compete with Nintendo. Sony didn't even present and their lineup is already better.

Sega's having PTSD flashbacks of Dreamcast and wondering if the money from Microsoft and partnership with them for PSO2 was worth it.

you know that E3 is the moment that companies go and show their new stuff that will come in the future so why they will show up PSO2 NGS when the game was released before E3? there's no reason to show NGS in this year also Microsoft did show NGS last year.

Had a few that showed quite a bit of gameplay. Lot of titles people wanted for a long time.

Sega partnership with Microsoft got them a lot more revenue so that is blatantly false.

The money Microsoft used to buy companies is literally a drop in the bucket to them.

At this point you're just trying to start trouble. You've already been proven wrong on quite a bit since we all saw the same show and the financial report of Sega is all there for everyone to see. The massive success of the NGS launch with the ridiculous amount of players on all platforms exceeded Sega's forcast on player count by a large margin. Server issues and all of JP PSO2 blocks being full shows such.

GG

Nevada needs to put E3 on their books for bets, something similar to the typical sportsbook.

How many games in the past decade shown at E3 make release = X amount of winnings Games that live up to the fabricated Hype = XX of winning Games that are released in full content without needing DLC / Lootboxes to retain relevance = XXX of winnings

Games that stay enjoyable after 3-5 years = XXXX of winnings

After that Guardians of the Galaxy trailer I'm pretty sure Microsoft said they can't show PSO2NGS at their presentation, as SE and Eidos would upstage them mere moments later making them look like the fools they already are. That game looks like pure sci-fi fun, and more character than Aina and Mamon that's for sure.

I don't think this really means much. Microsoft has their own games along with big 3rd party games they want to feature I'm sure. Time is limited. Also, as cool as it would be to see PSO at every MS E3, such a thing just wouldn't be very realistic. It was very unprecedented that PSO2 even showed up at MS E3 at all, not just once, but two times! Just like Sony, Microsoft's core audience is the western gamer into high production AAA games. PSO isn't really something that appeals to those type of gamers.

I feel the only reason PSO2 ever even happened at MS E3 is because Phil Spencer was personally a fan of the series. Microsoft's marketing team probably thought he was nuts wanting to feature the game.

I don't understand what microsoft has done wrong? They helped bring the game over, got them up on Azure which is a proven technology, and the game runs beautifully. Sure it lags but there's more people online than ever on global, it's to be expected and we can only hope it gets resolved soon in maintenances. Game hasn't even been out for a week yet.

You're being really negative and I think you should cool off and go outside, touch some grass.
