I got multiple creator emblems from doing the story quest and the item description says the talk to zig and he's standing near the pet lab technician but he doesn't take them, is it not available yet? Or do I have to go somewhere else?

Yes, Zieg is meant to take them. But crafting isn't in the game yet, so all of his COs/etc. are disabled. If you're wondering, even if we did have crafting, you wouldn't be able to make crafted/custom discs for PAs/Techs, since we don't have level 11+ Discs, which you disassemble into materials to make said crafted/custom discs.
