Organized list of things that could potentially benefit the NA Version

So first and foremost I want to say I've clocked in around 60 hours during this beta, and alot more to come. This game is great and has some of the most fun combat I've ever played in a MMO. However there are alot of things I think would help cater to this game. I'll organize this in a list like format.

Mags and Skill Tree: I feel stat increases and mag stat increases arent really explained well for how punishing they can be to new players. During this beta I encountered so many people who said the had messed up there skill tree or there mag. Which would be fine, we all make mistakes. The problem here is you have to buy a whole new skill tree/or a reset skill tree ticket to fix this with real cash. Personally I dont think this is a good structure for the western market, it forces new players to immediately throw money at the game very early on, restart the game, or quit. Throwing money at the game isnt a bad thing, but I feel like having to throw money at the game due to early game ignorance is not the reason to be spending.

DPS/Build Test: I feel like alot of players would like a feature like this. Imagine having a practice area like the runs we have now but instead of just trying level 1 classes in there, you could test out different builds and skill locations to optimize your build against a dummy. I think we have a damage calculator in there already but it would be way more convenient if you could change your build and test different combinations of Main/Sub classes. Not to mention it could potentially help new players figure out what they would like to aim for.

Some sort of Symbol Art control: It pains me to say this because I love symbol art. However the amount of explicit symbol art I've run into during just the beta of the game is insane. I feel like it's really going to look bad for this game here in the west, rather you are streaming it or someone else saw it and reviewed the game. Honestly the explicit symbol art alone could turn some people away from the community especially the younger majority.

Bots: We already have bots and the game is xbox only, I fear that it will only get worse once this game arrives on pc.

PS4 and Switch I know theres alot less control on this one due to dealing with other companies and other things that are beyond my knowledge. Though I feel this game would only benefit from having a bigger audience. Our audience is already pretty impressive for only being on the xbox at the moment, and likely to drastically expand when the pc version drops to. Now imagine how many more players would appear for a ps4 and switch release.

**PSO2 ES Content:**So the jp version would benefit from having the mobile app "pso2 es" it would give them things like a whole new storage box. I think it would be nice to add that storage onto the existing storage just to compensate for it. Though I dont feel this is really needed, just a nice touch.

**More Casino Stuff!:**Okay the Casino is alot of fun, the main attraction (Black Jack) was a blast to play with other people. I think this would be a nice consistent way to earn goodies and just have fun if it got more updates later down the line. More games, and more rewards maybe on a rotation to keep people coming? Oh and please add poker!

Optmization This is actually my last thing I wont add alot since I'm sure it's probably already being looked at. The xbox one, and one s both play and look very bad. The version I'm playing on the xbox one has like a weird constant resolution increase and decrease (i think) to optimize frame rates. Though I played the base ps4 version and it didnt lag or look nearly as bad. Could just be hardware stuff though

Last but not least i want to thank anyone that could potentially be working at Microsoft or Sega for bringing this amazing game to the West I've been having a blast so far! Can't wait for the pc release and more future content to participate in with my friends and the community in the future. I feel like the dev team is actually trying to connect with its audience here and I love it! Even saw a GM running around to. And thankyou everyone else for giving pso2 a try it's been great playing with you all, and look forward to playing with you all more!

Back to the casino for me!

It's already in the JP version. I guess we don't have it yet. You can fight against a Rockbear with infinite HP.

The Xbox One S cannot be changed due to limitations on the console's power. You have to upgrade to a better version of the console.

Yea I figured this was the case for that situation unfortunately.

Oh really? I was moreso leaning towards trying different builds out inside the area so you wouldnt have to needlessly spend skill points and be forced to reset later. That's cool though I look forward to it then if that's the case!

You can block symbol arts that show up in your history

For the MAG mistakes, there should be an item in the Excube Shop which allows you to down level you Mag for only 5 Excubes per level. (It was pretty expensive back when it was 50 Excubes on the JP version, but that's not the case anymore. It only works on MAGs past level 100. So if you did spent more than 100 points into the wrong category, down level your MAG in steps.)

I know it, because I used it for my showcase of some of the Techs/Spells: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TktcZB0fxA8&t=3m10s

Someone linked a similar video with a showcase of those self-destruct summoner pets doing 999,999 damage.

BTW, The Rockbear in the quest doesn't have infinite HP. You can kill it, it will take quite some time due it having 400,000,000 HP.

Well, I guess I should be glad it doesn't have 5 Trillion HP like highest difficulty Freya from Star Ocean 3.

I am curious now, is it more than Star Ocean Last Hope's Ethereal Queen (6 Wing version) on Chaos difficulty?

In SO4 on Chaos, the 6-wing version has 66,300,000 HP. In SO3 ,Freya on 4D has 60,000,000 HP. In SO3, it was practically always easier to get MP kills, though, rather than HP kills, later in the game.

Reaching out to NA game companies for collaborations.

It was confirmed that PSO2 is coming to all current consoles. Just not yet.

@Vipes I don't think you can consider that interview as an official confirmation if we're being honest. Unless you mean with 'all consoles' the ones owned by Microsoft. Like Xbox and Windows on PC. I'll agree with you on that cause it has been mentioned through their official twitter account that Xbox and PC cross-play will happen some day.

In general, and more notably in the game industry. When a CEO or an Executive claims something especially during a 'casual' interview, take their statements with a 'grain of salt'. Most of the time they're just saying things to please their audience, but really deliver? Often nope, unless we the Gamers tend to give them a whooping of a backlash. Then they deliver.

(Give me that 16 times the detail.)
