Petition: sega please make urgent quest schedules for both pso2 and ngs post ngs launch

i have been here since the start of cbt for global and have had to use a calendar for pso2 schedules for many memorable things including urgent quests, concerts which are moving, and casino boosts that help players with the casino coins. with that being taken away from pso2 upon ngs release any chance new players have to catch up to veterans of pso2 is limited to very select few and may have ppl make a tool to make an possible forecasting tool that may be unreliable. not only that sega is doing what your planning in base pso2 going to be happening in ngs as well. please reconsider as it will be harder for people in both games going to be able to know when their target urgent quests going to be at a comfortable time for play but it may make certain systems in both global and jp services like triggers more needed throughout the system save for the few like call of the void as that's a trigger only, armada as that needs a special mechanic, and Hatred as that requires special gear for all players along with maxed out classes not to mention events this also harms the current speed of crafting certain endgame meta weapons and units and makes certain quests harder to complete across the board as a urgent quest that meets ur needs may take days to come up on the players time and may be harder to matchmake without a schedule or a trigger that outside a ACTIVE alliance can use as going public could invite ppl that are harmful into it as i have seen ppl use in public urgent quests use things like sigma launchers in a ultra hard primordial darkness which at that time is inexcusable and should be using better gear unless they are trolling for the most part if u did pso2 for at least 7 years on jp I'm pretty sure you made a urgent quest schedule for that service for at least 7 years as well and we at global after one year get a cut off from that? that's mighty sketchy, due to the fact that alot of us hardcore global players cant get the same treatment even if ngs is around the bend as some ppl need time to max all classes in base pso2 or need time to make starter gear for ngs first. and if new players want to take a pilgrimage to pso2's beginnings it would make things more difficult on them. we old players also had to deal with a big overload of content over the last year but it made things easier for certain story requirements and without a schedule new players will need to ask for help to complete certain urgent quests for some cases of episode 5's side story content to be unlockable. old players may also want to come back to do some urgent quests watch a concert or play some games in the casino for fun on both global and jp sides I would also like to point out that in ngs there would be more need to get a uq schedule as ppl need to go to the place it takes place in directly to make a attempt to play in it (yes i participated in the global beta) as ppl need to make sure to know wat will go on at what time at what place as it may harm regular spawn points in the area of operation for those not doing the quest. not to mention some orders may include the need for a urgent quest or ten to be dealt with in my closing statment i think things like the urgent quest schedule will be a needed function for both base pso2 and ngs going into the future of both games and would be a grave mistake to stop making them change my mind or any vet that was having to do global and the 7years in 1year run

Holy wall of text batman!

The petition was needing a extremely good amount of reasons so I listed them

This is literally impossible to read.

I don't know what points you were trying to make, so I'll just explain why there won't be a schedule going forward, and why that is a good thing. Lacking a schedule means that EQs can just be random fun things that happen from time to time, and won't be 100% required for meaningful gear/character progression. It frees up the ability to make other content more meaningful, content that can be accessed at your leisure at any time. This is objectively a better system than PSO2's system of waiting around for a scheduled EQ to happen because nothing else is ever worth running.

gonna say that I only read part of that wall of text that you put there.

Sega is not gonna do a Schedules both for PSO2 and NGS and instead is letting the server do that work instead of having developers checking the entire list of UQ and put a specific value to happen in that determinated day so the developers can focus only in developing the game.

is annoying not knowing when they will happen but without having someone doing that is better for the content of the game.

These things are not mutually exclusive, now that we don't get any new UQs anymore there is no reason to not automate the whole process. Let the system come up with a randomized selection at the beginning of the month and put up the results on the calendar, no further human interaction required.

That's not how their randomization works. It is something built-in that works on the hour to decide if there should be one. It is probably esigned to not allow them on back-to-back hours, also. This kind of randomness actually fits their purpose better, which is an Emergency that just randomly occurs.

Which can be overwritten by manual input that can be replaced by an automated system.

This is completely random and the only way to do it. For emergencies, they should happen without prior notice. Having notice completely defeats the purpose.
