Is anyone else excited for a casino?

I doubt we'll get the casino at launch, but one of my favorite things to do in PSO2 was to play Rappy Slots. It's nice to have relaxing and fun minigames to play after spending a lot of time fighting enemies and exploring the world. I hope they add a casino someday with lots of fun minigames and cool rewards. What kinds of games would you like to see at a NGS casino?

People say this about fishing in games too, and i'm just wondering why you need to get some dumb mini game to "relax" in the game while you are playing the game. That seems counter-intuitive. Do you get stressed out while you play or something? You could just take a break for an hour you know.

@Yggranya

Maybe people want to chill and socialize whilst still being in the game. You don't need to always be fighting enemies to make the play experience be meaningful.

I personally don't like Casino, but also don't mind NGS having that.

But please, don't add Casino related missions in NGS.

arcades pls

@Knight-Raime It's not much of a game if you are so bored with it you'd rather spend your time in-game on other things than gameplay.

@Yggranya

Minigames have existed in plenty of games of various quality. I really don't see why you're so hostile at the idea of side content that you don't have to interact with that's fun for others. It's a very weird hill to die on. And this is coming from a person who doesn't engage with minigames in many games.

@Yggranya casino is gameplay.

@Knight-Raime There is no hill to die on since if you've ever visited the casino, you'll instantly see that it's totally dead as nobody goes there. Like PvP, it would be a total waste of time and resources to make it again, just like it was for the first time. Doing it again in NGS would actually be the almost literal meaning of "hill to die on". Sega has the numbers, which are plain to see in-game too, and they know it would be a waste, so there would need to be some autocratic ruler who decides to force it into the game for no rhyme or reason other than "i like it".

I wouldn't be so certain about that. While I never saw large groups of people in there at one time I would regularly see signs that players had popped in and played the games with more popular blocks having more activity.

I would love a casino in NGS. Helps pass the time when needed and its just fun to play black jack etc with friends.

For me personally I would love to see a casino but at the same time I don't (but not for the same reasons as others have stated) I remember when sega started the casino rooms back in PSU the casino was actually a fun place to be. The entire floor was a roulette table for christ sake. Pso2 casino had promise but they did the same thing they do with a lot of content in base game, start it then desert it. If you talk to an npcs you'll find one that mentions new games coming in the future and that never happened since the day they opened it in jp back in 2014. My hope is IF they do bring in a casino in NGS, dont make it then ditch it to be dead content afterwards. Make a rewards rotation (or give us something to actually want to work for instead of what we were given in pso2) and give us a bigger variety of games to play. I enjoyed the hell out of PSU casino and spent days in there trying to get enough coins for the outfits and was sad with what pso2 gave us. Other than that I wouldnt mind it if they did give us one in the future.

Casino city in NGS when?! Call it Las Aelio!

@Yggranya

Unless you've got access to some kind of documents or statements that can prove it was wasted resources you're just being argumentative for the sake of it. Mini game content in general doesn't need to be a main stay of activity for it to be considered "worth" making. Casino was useful at the bare minimum as a way to generate some SG.

Bottom line is many appreciate mini games for many reasons. Unless you can draw a line between not getting new content because they spent the resources on mini games there's no argument to have. Some people enjoy mini games. Leave them be.

Casino or arcades would be nice to have
