@RainGnyu Politicians wouldn't be able to completely shut down PSO2 as they would not have control over other countries. Ultimately, the idea is to let people use whichever client they want and be able to pick whichever server they wished regardless of the client or region they are logging in from. You would be able to use any account on any client. It would also allow for direct communication with the developers; no need for a middleman.
@MasterDarkwingz Actually, as long as PSO2es is available, they cannot block any purchases from countries that allow the Google Playstore. Since NGS shares AC, you would be able to purchase it in PSO2es and then use it however you wish.
@Moei For the most part, lag is likely not going to be an issue. From what I heard and can tell, gameplay is essentially handled client side rather than server side. There are some server side things yes, but things like hit confirmation and enemy movement/attacks are handled client side. A friend of mine described a moment he suffered what he believed to be lag, where the damage numbers stopped appearing but the enemies and his character still moved like normal, preventing him from being swarmed out of nowhere/dying to invisible attacks. Only time lag would be an issue is PvP.
