Are the graphics capped in this Closed Beta?

Every setting looks just as bad as any others. And it defaults to Lowest which makes absolute no sense. I typically run games on max/high settings and this looks pretty bad. Everything else has been OK but the graphics are very MEH in this beta. No 4k of course.

Is AA on? That makes it blurry. Be sure to initialize windows when you choose the highest settings to lock them in.

Check this thread out https://forum.pso2.com/topic/4769/proper-4k-virtual-fullscreen-support?_=1621111665207 it may be the same issue base PSO2 has with virtual fullscreen for the resolution issue at least, which people provided two solutions for in the replies. I assume you'd just have to find out where the beta stores user.pso2 or whatever name it might have for NGS for one of the solutions.

The beta just has NGS_CBT_NA tacked onto the typical settings folder where the user.pso2 file is.

I had no luck either. The game looks meh at best while also demanding a lot of gpu horsepower. Initially I used TAA, because similar to pso2 the game just flickers a lot (ghosting), but I settled for FXAA, because the TAA implementation is terrible and makes 4k look like 720p. For some reason the style reminds me of a mixture of MHW and Destiny 2, while having lower texture quality and 1/2 the fps. Gameplay itself made a good first impression, I already did everything the beta has to offer.
