Does sega even play their game?

Fire Swirl would've been at least justified if something like Rinser could be obtained in a badge shop but otherwise is complete trash when Drawn to Darkness has Augment Will 2 as well and better offerings, the quest had its purpose taken out of it while Easter is just outdated. Meanwhile there's no CM3 (Enhance Caps w/ Miles + Fluxio), Gold Medal Grania exchange (they are now the Klauz bottleneck with 10x UQ Sodam, ironically), or god forbid, a swap shop option for all the garbage 13* units Cradle/DtD are dropping like motherfuckers when JP already has it.

On the other hand it is good not to be hostage to the schedule but for more savvy players it's just grinding out Cradle/DtD, hitting an anthropomorphic damage sponge, and maybe the LQ triggers before the boost ends next week while the economy goes into clown mode.

Rinser weapons should be added after the LQ leaves but global has a tendency to not add exchanges and other things we already should have gotten a while ago. So one of two things is about it happen:

A: They update the RWB5 shop later on.

This would be good for everyone who farmed the UQ / LQ and depending on what they're going to add (Mark and SSA capsules are also a common requests I see) people who ignore them might regret it later on.

B: They leave the RWB5 shop as is.

This woud obviously upset those who took the effort to farm for them and devalue RWBs as one of their primary event / title rewards as many players are then going to drown in a currency they don't have a use for.

I farmed them and found none. They better add them to vendors or add them elsewhere.

Then one of their guests during ARKS HOUR mentioned it and they said that adding the exchange "wasn't planned" but they implemented it immediately the next day during their update.

You know, it's funny that this is exactly like they do things in FFXIV. They know nothing and they don't want to hear any of it until someone points it out and/or they do something for "funzies" and accidentally see the glaringly obvious problem. Then they say "Holy hypocrisy, Batman! This is no way to treat your playerbase!" aaaand fixed.

people have been asking for stuff like the ultimate booster exchange for a very long time and nothing ever happened. Then one of their guests during ARKS HOUR mentioned it and they said that adding the exchange "wasn't planned" but they implemented it immediately the next day during their update.

Honestly that sounds like too fast of a turnaround for it to have been a direct consequence of that particular instance of the request. We've long suspected that Sega aren't giving the community team maintenance / update details until the update is deployed, so it could just as easily have been that it was planned and had been for some time but the ARKS Hour hosts just didn't know it.

ARKS Hour (and Minute) is, by design, just like any other community rep team correspondence. What will be discussed is checked and cleared well ahead of time, and this may or may not include topics or matters that may be brought up at random. For that reason, no matter how much people may ask something, no matter how valid it may be, it may literally be a matter of binding non-disclosure or simply not being given the okay to discuss, thus silence is golden. And remember, this IS someone's job on the line if they don't follow established guidelines.

Sure, this may make reps look bad or seem tight lipped at bad times, and even I don't like it myself, but when you understand that they are literally just the messengers in this and can only do what they're approved to do, you have to be a bit more forgiving of what isn't being said. Granted, this is no excuse for late/lazy correspondence, but that's an issue that stems from higher up.

You said it better than I ever could have. It's very obvious that it's like this. They can't just answer freely on everything. They're doing their jobs and what they're approved to be able to do.

They are not going to answer freely on too many things. They can be vauge about certain things like for instance the current events that are known as "Filler" AKA left overs. There was some sort of transparency at the start, but I certainly hope that this doesn't end up into another "SHIP 04" meme.

At this point UQ should be done just for fun. All the quest you mentioned drop stuff, but, are not that fun. Is nice to have braindead, chill content such as fireswirl and Easter UQ. Also, for Persona and Luther there are triggers, nothing prevents you to do them all the time

And then there's me over here having made 16m just now thanks to two Fire Swirl windows close together.
