Hi, I accidentally used my EGS account to create a new account instead of linking my Steam account. Is it still possible to remove the created account on Epic Game Store?

Nope. You can try making another Epic Games account, if possible.

No. Once an account for the game is created on Epic, Steam, or MS Store, it is impossible to remove it. You have to make a new account.
